Are you feeling depressed, anxious, constantly stressed, or find yourself struggling with a bereavement or another traumatic issue? If so, you are not alone. I know that reaching out for help is hard, but I give you a completely confidential, warm, non-judgemental space to work through your difficulties and reach a better place. I am an experienced integrative counsellor in Hammersmith and online and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP), with 16 years of professional experience. I will always take time to learn about your specific situation ahead of using a therapeutic approach that is right for you.

Anxiety is an extremely common issue for many people. When we are constantly stressed over time, we hold that stress in our body, leading to a feeling of being overwhelmed. You may find yourself overthinking and catastrophising over certain issues, or experiencing social anxiety and panic attacks. We will work on developing a clearer understanding of these feelings by listening closely to your body, learning where these emotions arise and identifying the root cause behind them. This process allows you to feel more in control of your anxiety and deal with stress in a healthier way going forward.
I know that depression makes you feel like things will never improve – that your situation is hopeless. It can be hard to leave that low place, and it takes steady work to reach a better mental space, but I am here to help you every step of the way. We will do this together. Our sessions will involve observing your thoughts in a compassionate, curious way and gradually help you develop better thought patterns that don’t reinforce your depression. It doesn’t happen overnight, of course, but our weekly work together will, over time, help you keep these feelings in check when difficulties arise in the future.
There is no right way to grieve following a loss. You might be experiencing anger, guilt, denial, feel depressed/unmotivated, or simply feel numb. These feelings are all valid and understandable, but I know it can be hard to show them to your loved ones. I give you a safe, non-judgemental space to vocalise these emotions in any way you like, allowing you to process them in your own time. When you are ready, we will develop a person-centred way to move through these emotions and come to a place of acceptance.
After the experience of the pandemic, it is completely understandable to feel like you have lost confidence and retreated inside yourself. Many of my clients feel that way. You might feel like you have lost your vital force – that raw, authentic self that makes you who you are. And I am here to help you find it again, creating a warm, supportive environment where you can voice your feelings and develop techniques that help you believe in yourself again and go about your life with greater confidence, self-belief, and happiness.
